Teaching our youngones about Supporting Christian Values

This was a good night for a Church service at home, and what a great thing THE LORD brought for me to teach my teenagers! It is something that we cannot leave up to our church leaders to teach it, because it simply might not be feasible for them as a church, but praise God, as individuals we can teach them at home. Teach them to sort from the things they ought to watch and not for their own good, is something that the earlier in life they learn the better for their lives it will be.

There are TV and radio shows that bring honor to God openly and their focus is in leading others to Christ; most of these because maybe have a name that glorifies God, and for this, are easy to find. Others, maybe that show the you see while doing the dishes, or the laundry, perhaps that show you hear on your way to work, or what you're allowing your kids to watch before/after dinner, or as a family, maybe these others are not Christian TV.

Because of the mass variety of choice, to narrow down the list, from an article I read in the Christian News Magazine, I've outline three simple guideline that will help you determine if that show you're listening or watching is a good/sound food to feed your eyes and ears, or not too.  Because as Children of God, most of us, really want to do right, but sometimes, we're not lead on what in the TV or in the radio is good or not; truly in the cases were things have become an obsession like what happened with the last Pokémon game, that pretended to be a good "exercise" tool, we MIGHT hear something, but its not guaranteed.  This is why I decided to share this with you, my friends, because The Lord showed me, that is up to me to LIVE and promote sound Christian discipline, after I've been taught about it. I know there are churches out there that will not touch "simple" subjects as beware of what we see and hear, and allow your children to.  At the end I've included the web link to the magazine in case you want to read the article.  The Scriptures were found in my topical search for values in The Bible.

Back in 2008, I never had given ear to boycott anything/anyone until my, then eleven years old son, wrote a letter to Pepsi-Cola, expressing his disgust to their support to the Human Rights Campaign.
The article said that the American Family Association initiated in 2008 a boycott of PepsiCo because the company had made a $500,000 contribution to the Human Rights Campaign (possibly the nation's most influential radical pro-homosexual activist group).  It also mentions that the boycott ended in February 2010 as Pepsi changed its practices.

I didn't know how to react, what to do with that letter my son wrote, and to tell you the truth I don't even remember if the youth group sent a copy of every students letter home for us to keep, or how the story ended. But now, almost ten years later, this article came to my hands, and it made me glad to see that my son's concern then, were heard and produced the God-given results. To God be the glory for the lesson I've been taught today.  This is something that encouraged me to share it with the world, and help encourage others, to stand up for our Biblical Values.

It is important for us to realize if we press on to support a cause for Christ, HE IS FOR US, and we will be heard. Be courageous, and stand up high for our BIBLICAL VALUES in everything we do for the sake of our children's future if the Lord tarries, and of course for the cause of Christ, and the glory of God.

The 3 simple guidelines to determine the value of a show, is NOT good:
  1. IF it sells, deals or promotes Pornography.
  2. IF is a network that belittle, denigrate, undervalue, underrate, play down, ridicule, mock, scorn, run down, defame, discredit, our Christian faith in GOD The Father, GOD The Son - JESUS, GOD The HOLY SPIRIT.
  3. IF the company who supports it celebrates and supports a life-threatening and aberrant lifestyle.
I agree with AFA that "supporting activities like those we are boycotting pose a grave threat to our survival as a nation and as a moral and civilized people." We are jeopardizing our children's future if we do not teach them about supporting Christian values.

To make this personal, I’m NOT judging other persons or their inherent value in God's eyes; I’m simply holding a Biblical spotlight on poor corporate decisions that support an agenda bent on destroying the BIBLICAL FOUNDATION upon which our nation WAS BUILT.  Teaching the generations that are coming up, to follow and support Biblical Values in all realms of life its a MUST!!!

The article ends encouraging us, "God's people for we have a choice as well—give God's money to those who support immoral lifestyles and unbiblical values, or spend it elsewhere. A boycott is nothing more, nothing less, than judicious stewardship of the resources GOD has PLACED IN OUR CARE."
Here are some of the many Scriptures that encourage us to stick to our Biblical Values.  Remember that GOD is the same, and in spite of the time, HE IS THE SAME, YESTERDAY, TODAY and FOREVER! (Hebrews 13:8) By the way that is the same book and chapter among others that talks about Moral Directions.

I pray The Lord shows you the importance of supporting Biblical Values in everything we do; and I pray you get to share this with those HE will place in your heart. For the glory of God, I pray this in JESUS name, AMEN!!!

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money."
Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool.
And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.
In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. ...
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.
Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.
“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming. In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices ...
In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honors those who fear the Lord; who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous. Justice, and only justice, you shall follow, that you may live and inherit the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people (places/things/activities). ...
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. SET YOUR MINDS ON THINGS THAT ARE ABOVE, not on things that are on earth. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. ...
Of David. Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. COMMIT YOUR WAY TO THE LORD; TRUST IN HIM, AND HE WILL ACT. ...

Bible Reading Plans

HAPPY NEW YEAR, friends!!!

As we begin the first week of this new year, its important to make changes in the places that whatever is it that we've been doing it has not work.  In case you do not know, GOD MUST be the CENTER of your life, because HE CREATED YOU! And just like we want our children to mind us when we are trying to rule and teach them about life, HE as our heavenly Father, is actively seeking our attention to help us direct our lives according to HIS will.  Two things are essential for HIM to be the center, you HAVE to accept that HE IS THE RULER of ALL, and you must desire to be under HIS authority.  Because you can know about HIM, but if you do not desire to be ruled by HIM, is not going to work, you'll not mind, in other words, you'll ignore HIM.... that's not good or convenient!
For this you just have to call upon HIS name, ask HIM to forgive you of your sins, because truly NO ONE can forgive sins but HIM. Recognize that HE sent JESUS to die for your sins, and accept the gift of Salvation by allowing HIM to become  the Master of your life.
Then for your life to experience a change of order, for us to see things the way GOD sees them, we MUST determine to start every day not only in prayer but READING HIS WORD!  We want HIM to open our eyes to lift a prayer for the hurting around me; whether is in an ambulance, stranded in side of the road or those that make the news on TV.  And HE will wake up our senses when we ask HIM, but in order to train our minds to actively engaging on that focus, we HAVE to READ HIS WORD!!!

In a conversation one person speaks and the other one listens.  When we pray, we are speaking and GOD IS LISTENING! Then is HIS turn to speak to us! And how do we hear HIM that visibly we cant see? I’m glad you asked! We READ HIS WORD, that’s a way we can HEAR HIM SPEAK.  Very often I encourage you to READ THE WORD aloud, because it does make more sense.  It’s like hearing God actually speaking to us because we can hear a voice with a message that will apply very well to our lives. God knows what we need, and how we need it, so as we read HE will shift whatever need to be shift inside our mind for us to understand the message HE’s giving us. But it IS A MUST that we make that daily appointment with HIM.
Therefore, HOW ABOUT A NEW PLAN TO READ our Father’s Word, The Bible:
·        In 90 Days?
·        Perhaps read it in Chronological order?
·        Or how about read the books of the Bible as they were written historically, according to the estimated date of their writing?
·        Read through the four Gospels--Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John--in 40 days?
·        How about a reading plan that walks through the entire New Testament in 24 weeks of daily readings?
·        Maybe reading through the book of Proverbs every month of the year?
And these are some of the options that you can get online (follow the link at the end of this message); but are many other ways to read our Father’s Word daily, it’s a MUST!!! For a successful life! I’m sharing with you today this plans because I’ve used many times, and I KNOW as long as we commit to it, is effective! Just a quick prayer before starting it and GOD will bless you, for your desire to spend time with HIM, for HE LOVES that!
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.” Joshua 1:8Amplified Bible (AMP)
I pray you choose to start this new year, with the perspective that ONLY GOD can give, and I pray this for the glory of God in JESUS name, AMEN!

GOD speaks; can you hear HIM?

Sometimes is not easy to hear The Lord speak, especially if you’re expecting that this majestic strong voice from heaven, will sound like the one John heard in Matthew 3:17, “This is my beloved Son!”. THE LORD can speak like that, I have no doubt, but HE speak in many other ways; perhaps if you’re listening to the radio in the car, HE can speak thru the person speaking in that station, by giving you the answer to whatever you’ve asked God.  Perhaps, as you looking around you see a sign with a word from God, a or a Scripture that talks about something you need to know; if you want to know a name or a place of some sort, and do not remember it, GOD can bring that name up in a license plate of a car, or a billboard on the road.  Or even in a non-related conversation that name you can remember comes up, and you’ll know that you know that you know, that it was the name you were trying to remember, because is a divine revelation, and that my friend, is how GOD works, that’s what HE does for HIS people!  HE reveals to us unknown things, “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” (Jeremiah 33:3)

When a divine revelation is given to me, I can do nothing else but worship THE LORD.  Sometimes the dream I think is over and the revelation is great, as I worship and start to record it in my journal, that’s when the entire revelation occurs, as THE LORD shows me more. And this is what happened tonight...
“I was having a dream, and in that dream, I was visiting someone whose husband doesn’t serve THE LORD.  The husband had just gotten home, and was in the kitchen when we were coming from another area in the back, perhaps a living or a family room.  But as she walked in close to the kitchen area where he was, and she saw he was trafficking with another guy who had come to make a deal with him, immediately, she backed up, and so did I.  She was trying to protect me and my daughter who was sleep walking, seems she had fall asleep while I was visiting, so on my way out, I called her to go home. Then this friend, showed me a window that holds a screen like cover, to be removed in an emergency to be used as an escape exit; to let me know that it was safer for us to go that way.  She thought it was better for us to get out of there that way than to pass by the kitchen and interrupt the transaction; since their conversation was a bit high as well as tense.  But as she was telling me all about that exit, her husband walked up to us; the guy was gone, and it was safe for us to leave thru the front door.  So we passed by her husband and turn to go to the kitchen.  On my walk there we passed by the dining room, and from beside the table, a hand with a long arm, try to stop me from leaving the house.  This hand was not from flesh and bones, but a rubber material, and it was white with red stripes, on the sides, and maybe all around it.  I wasn’t afraid, but I didn’t want that hand to grab my finger, because I had heard that when a finger is grabbed is easier for the body to fall; and I dint want that, so I was avoiding it.  Then I see a bottle of Windex or maybe 109 cleaner, and sprayed the hand, and of course it didn’t detour it.  But then I thought, THE BIBLE!  I know with it I’ll defeat the hand, but I didn’t have my purse with me, so I was looking to see if my friend, had one around, and in that hustle I woke up rebuking Satan in the name of JESUS.”
As I was recollecting my thoughts and the dream, I looked at the clock, and it was 1am, which is the time my oldest gets off from work, so I started to plead the blood of JESUS over him; especially after waking up fighting demons in the spirit.  Then I started to record this entire episode on my journal, when I heard his car pulled in.  I praise God, he came home safe, and as usual I waited for him, for a quick hi/bye before bed, when he comes with his experience of the night. Today, after an entire stormy day with rain, lightning, and rumbles in heaven, in the end of December with a 70-degree temp, the road was wet.  And though he was driving at 30 miles per hour in a 60 miles’ zone, his car hydroplaned!  As soon as he mentioned, hydroplaned; THE LORD completed that dream’s revelation to me.  That’s why HE had woken me up, rebuking Satan, and pleading the blood of JESUS over us and my son. I was overcome with excitement, as I worship my heavenly Father for HIS great love. I could only worship HIM! For HIS mercy and grace, for saving my son, and saving us from a terrible tragedy. Alleluia!!!     Alleluia!!!     Alleluia!!!
I HAVE to plead the blood of JESUS over my kids, especially when they leave my side, or are away; because it gives me peace, that GOD is caring for them, I KNOW HE will do better job than me!  And besides, I still have fresh the news, of less than a week ago, when a mother was watching the news almost at midnight, waiting for her son to come back from partying after work, when a “break-in news” from an accident popped in the TV, a car just like her son’s; at the end, it was him, and he died instantly from the impact of the steering wheel to his chest because the air bag didn’t deploy.
I encourage you, friends, PLEAD THE BLOOD of JESUS, over your loved ones, especially your children, and more when they’re away from you.  We’ll try to protect them at all times if they are with us, we’re there but when they go away, ONLY GOD can do it!  And HE WILL protect them better than us, because HE is Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient… can anything beat my GOD? I don’t think so! Victory is in Christ. “If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:31-32)
Try it, for yourself! And next time you wake up in the middle of the night for whatever reason, ask GOD, What is it that YOU want to talk to me about, Lord!? You’ll be amaze at the things HE will reveal to you! Grab pencil and paper, and journal those things, they will be a stepping stone for your faith, and for those that read the divine revelations God has given you.
I pray you share with me, your testimony, just like I shared mine; to GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

Until next time, God bless you!!!

Creating Memories in Christmas

As a Christmas tradition, we usually make our annual Gingerbread House.  This year, unlike previous years, (at least I never seen it before) I found in the store not only the “common” Gingerbread House kit, they had among others a Nativity Set, complete with Mary, Joseph, the three Wise men, three camels and Baby Jesus.  But since we didn’t like the idea of eating ANY of the members of it, especially Baby Jesus, (kind of creepy) I decided to buy another new (for us), the “Ugly Sweater Cookie” Kit.  What a GREAT family idea!!!  Though I had to “push” my veteran to come and work it with us, we had a blast! He even created not one but two “ugly sweaters”; in fact, after the poll I’ll be posting tonight, I’m sure his will be the winner.

This activity took about eighty minutes in total. The box had sixteen sweater shape baked cookies; it brought four fine tip tubes of green, red, black & white icing; and two little bags with hundreds of sprinkles of Christmas ornaments in the assorted Christmas colors.  It included candy cane shape, mistletoes, Christmas tree, gingerbread boy, and snowflakes. My teenagers almost thirteen, fifteen, and my oldest twenty-one joined in, and we loved it! From us five, my sons each made one, the rest were created by my daughter, my husband and me.  It was a LOT OF FUN!!!

Growing up in a tropical island, this activity was never included in our family gatherings.  After I moved to Tennessee, my culture received a transformation in many ways.  And my oldest then was two but when he started school he was asking me about making memories, I found myself at lost because I couldn’t understand how to. It was a bit sad because we couldn’t do what I grew up doing but at the same time I was hungry to learn new things.  I had to let go the fact that I was not in the tropic no more, and not only the temperature was different, the activities could not be the same either. It took me time, but it finally started to happened as I join the church family, and my son started elementary school.  As he learned things in school, and brought them home, I was able to learn to do those myself, and decided to incorporate those for the following year…. I learned so much from these!

Some I did good, others not so good! Bored one night a few years back, I tried to knit my first scarf; I must confess, it didn’t work for me, in fact, I still have the box with the yarn…. Seems my kids and I were too active for that.  Another year we worked on our first pop-corn string for our Christmas tree, that was cute!  But then, the gingerbread house was the winner, so we’ve kept it going. And now even after the kids had become teenagers and sometimes is hard to find things to make memories, the gingerbread house is the one they keep asking to get, so until they stop asking, I’ll keep getting it. And now, this year, with the ugly sweater, I’m sure it will be one to remember for many years to come!  They even asked me to post it online to get “a poll” and see among my network friends, which one they choose is the ugliest one, so here it goes!

Paul might have not had a chance to make memories like my cookies here, but he made great memories when he was in Thessalonica. When Timothy shared with him, about the impact of those memories in the people, Paul requested everyone to pray so the Lord would send him back. (1st Thessalonians 3)

I pray you choose to make some memories with your family.  One day, we’ll be old to remember some of those details, but the younger generations, they need to remember!  Beside the teaching moments in life, the moments for corrections, sad, ugly and not so good times, they will remember that we also made time for memories, good and funny memories.

Sometimes the easiest things work best. Try it! Even if you have little or no money, these are precious moments, treasure them, and encourage them to your young ones, so they can do the same as they get old with their own families. By doing so, they will appreciate the little things, and the things money can’t buy. And then, just like Paul you will be encouraged, when out of the blue and after long time, they pop to visit you.

Do not hesitate to go by my Facebook page, and vote.

Until next time, GOD bless you! Have a wonderful Christmas time, and remember JESUS is the reason for this season. Celebrate HIM, for the blessings HE’s been to us, by living for HIM.  If you do not know how, ask me!

Write The Word - 30 Day Family Challenge

Sometime ago, this Family Challenge came to my Facebook page, and I got excited because it came in a time where I was looking into ideas to spice up our morning devotional with my teenagers.  So I made plans to start around late November that way the challenge would be over in time for Christmas.  Since they are teenagers, when things are mixed up with money, they REALLY like to get involved in them, so... I decided to throw an additional blessing if they would jump into it.

We've been doing morning devotionals before they take the bus in the morning to go to school, right after breakfast, but when our devotional book ended (changes every three months) and its replacement hadn't come in yet, I decided to take it as the perfect time to start this NEW Devotional.  I also offered to them the as an opportunity to earn a reward, at the end of the thirty day period I would pay them a dollar per written Scripture; in other words IF they wake up on time everyday to make it to Devotional time, each of them should end up with $30 extra dollars, and on time for Christmas, what a great deal!!!

We've been doing it for about two weeks now, and so far they both missed one day each. I have an index card box to keep new and used Scripture Cards together with several pens.  Every morning as we open the day in prayer, we share the breakfast, and afterwards, we work together on our
Devotional time.  I read the Scripture for the day once, then slowly emphasize on the focus points of it, and because I'm dictating it to them I have used it as a chance to correct common spelling mistakes including writing the name of the Lord in small letters. I found it fascinating because at the end of this thirty days, they each will have their own personal set of Praying Scriptures Cards, created by them and will serve not only as a help in their daily prayer time but as a keepsake of a great tool for their future families.

I believe this is a GREAT tool, it's not the same to read a Scripture that you might see in a piece of paper, because when you write it, it stays longer; and since I'm the one dictating it, they have to actually think of what they're writing, and correcting any mistakes is like drilling that word that's being corrected, several times. I think is great! Not to mention that in my morning prayer before actually writing the Scriptures, I pray for the Lord to make it a permanent memorial in their hearts, and for the chance to share that particular Scripture with someone in school that day.

Here I'm including a picture of our Devo "tools" and the link for the challenge page.

I praise God for whoever sent this to me and for anyone who had to do with the challenge posting itself; I pray The Lord bless them as we continue to impart life on those GOD has chosen for us to minister to.  I also pray for you that's reading this blog to take the time to do this with your kids, it will bring ETERNAL rewards for them and a lot less headaches for us as parents, as we "nailed"/incorporate God's word in their daily routines. Do not forget to share with me about it when you do.

God bless you all, and ENJOY this new season of your life.

Serious Prayer

When you’re hurting, you need a SERIOUS prayer, and sometimes is not easy to share the total amount of details or the severity of the prayer request, and truly is not necessary either, because the person that’s listening, really, IS NOT the one we are praying to but to GOD. And GOD, my friends, knows it all; HE knows the deep of your mess, and HE WILL turn that mess into a MESSAGE for you to share it with the world.  Share what HE HAS done in your life for you and where HE got you out of, is a must because it brings glory to HIM, and it will push others to SEEK HIM to transform their mess into another MESSAGE.

I’m sharing this way of prayer because long time ago, I learned that I didn’t have a scripted prayer in the most critical moments (almost daily) of my life, so I needed to have a way that I could access the Throne of GOD, twenty-four seven!
Right now, I pray for a touch from God, that this prayer be an encourager for you, and to increase your love for a serious prayer time often, more often than ever before. I pray that you will see results of this prayer, immediately! I pray for good news, in whatever decision you’re asking HIM for. For things to be easily and quickly; I'm also praying for HIM to give you strength to endure the wait, because as we PATIENTLY wait, HE works in our personal transformation. Our hope and faith grows as we wait upon THE LORD. AMEN?!
But before we start there’s one important detail I pray you realize. And it is that in order for GOD to hear your prayers, your heart MUST be right with HIM. Meaning that you must have confessed HIM as your Savior & Master of your life, because John 9:31 says: Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.”
So, the first thing we will do is confess our sins to HIM, and ask HIM to come and live in our heart, something like this would work…
“Father, I pray you forgive me of my sins. I can’t save on my own and I NEED YOU to come to my heart and clean it from all bitterness, and past hurts. I KNOW YOU sent JESUS to die for me, in the cross; and that HE rose from the death and conquered the grave. And I thank YOU for what YOU did, and accept YOUR gift of life, so help me now Lord, to live for YOU! AMEN!”
Then, start the prayer….
“LORD, I believe there's nothing hard for YOU; I KNOW You are a Sovereign GOD. That YOU created the heavens and the earth, out of nothing, meaning that YOU can solve my difficulty right away without a need of a reason, or even a thing.
But LORD I just wonder if there's anything I NEED that I’m doing in my life that is not pleasing you just to make sure that this difficulty is not a result of my wrong doing.  Because if it is, this could be just a way YOU are using to call my attention to YOU.”
(Here you wait quietly for a few second until HIS words come to your mind as a thought in regards of something you’ve done.
IF HE shows you something, immediately ask HIM, “forgive me LORD for…”  and commit not to walk on that path again.
IF nothing’s shown or come to mind, keep the prayer going…)

“I pray LORD if there's something I physically need to do, to get better and ease my pain, on this situation, would you please let me know, Heavenly Father?”
(Here you wait quietly for a few seconds again, just like the previous request; expecting HIM to bring something to your mind.  IF HE shows you something, write it, record it in a piece of paper, or a notebook” This will help you keep track of HIS revelations to you, and you won’t forget that there’s work to do, and after the prayer, go for it!)
THE LORD LOVES when we recognize what HE has done for us. And a great way to demonstrate THE LORD how serious we are about giving the glory to HIM who heals us, and to show our grateful heart, is to commit to grow in our communion with HIM. For example:
“Lord if you take this pain away tonight, I promise YOU….   (I will “stop… cursing, gambling, smoking…   (whatever might be that you know you are doing and that is not good for you to do);
“I promise I will read a book of The Bible in a week, or two chapters a day…
"I promise to go visit the sick with the church group…. and/or to cook for a needy family…
"I promise to meet regularly with   (any church ministry)  …”
The idea is that whatever vow you make to HIM can fill one of these two categories:
1.       Help you know about HIM and HIS Word
2.       Help you share HIS Word and HIS love with others.

This is not like other “religious” people, “to walk on their knees to show HIM love” NO!  That’s not it! Because no matter how much your knees can take, that WILL NOT HELP you to know God’s Word.  The only thing that will help you to know HIM more, is thru the study of the Word, that’s what HE loves you to get into it.  You will be blessed, because HE can see you’re asking to get deeper with HIM.
A promise it’s a promise! And how much more if it is to GOD!? AMEN!? So, remember Numbers 30:2 “If a man makes a vow to the LORD, or swears an oath to bind himself by some agreement, he SHALL NOT break his word; he SHALL DO according to all that proceeds out of his mouth”.
To finish the prayer, take Jesus words said in John 14:14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” And pray in JESUS name and for the glory of God. And be ready, because THERE’S POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS… to break every chain!!!
And after you finish the prayer, give THE LORD a Praise Offering! Not only for what HE will be doing thru this prayer, but for not allowing this difficulty of your life to be worse than what it is; because really, things can always be worse! Also, for you to pass this mountain in victory for HIS glory! Worship HIM; you can tell HIM about HIS greatness, or my favorite, singing of HIS love forever!

If you have any comments or questions, DO NOT HESITATE to inbox them to me. I will be more than glad to get back with you.

Here’s a song it might help you start the worship…. “I can sing of Your love forever….

Despite of life's storm, study The Word!!!

Today, as my husband recovers in the hospital, I've been meditating on a great example JESUS left for us as we live our lives for HIS glory. Because circumstances come to our lives and tend to alter our lives, and sometimes if we aren't careful, seeking The Father about HIS will for our lives, we allow those circumstances to complete get us out of focus.  The truth is thru prayer, seeking God's face about things we will receive HIS guidance.  And when we have questions in how to pray when leading your world to The Lord, this is the answer!
Be encouraged, this morning... Follow the link to study this great prayer, of John 17!
